Ceftiosan (ceftiofur hydrochloride) is used in cattle to treat bacterial respiratory disease caused by Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, and Histophilus somni, and in pigs for bacterial respiratory disease associated with Pasteurella multocida, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, and Streptococcus suis
