MSD Taktic is a broad-spectrum ectoparasiticide for veterinary use against ticks, mites, lice, and keds on cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and dogs.
INDICATIONS
- Cattle: Control and treatment of ticks, mange mites, and lice.
- Sheep and Goats: Control of ticks, mange mites, lice, and keds, including sheep scab mites (Psoroptes ovis).
- Pigs: Treatment and control of sarcoptic mange and lice.
- Dogs: Control of ticks, mange mites (including Demodex), and lice.
- Precaution: Do not use on cats, horses, or Chihuahuas, and treat all animals in a flock.
ADMINISTRATION
- Method: Spray or plunge dip. For dogs, use a sponge or wash to apply to the skin and let it dry without rinsing.
- Concentration: Typically 1 litre of Taktic to 500-1000 litres of water (or 10-20ml per 1 litre).
- Preparation: Must be mixed with clean water and used on the same day.
- Method for Livestock: Ensure the head is immersed at least once during dipping.
