Ceva’s Enteroporc COLI AC (neonatal piglet colibacillosis (recombinant, inactivated) and clostridium perfringens vaccine (inactivated)) is a vaccine used in pregnant sows and gilts to protect their offspring from Neonatal Piglet Diarrhoea (ND) and necrotic enterotoxaemia caused by Escherichia coli and Clostridium perfringens types A and C.
  • Purpose: To passively immunize piglets via colostrum, reducing clinical signs (severe diarrhoea) and mortality caused by specific E. coli strains and C. perfringens types A and C.
  • The vaccine stimulates the sow’s immune system to produce antibodies which are then transferred to the piglets through colostrum, providing passive immunity.
