Startvac (polyvalent inactivated vaccine) is a veterinary medicine used for herd immunisation of healthy cows and heifers to reduce the incidence and severity of mastitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus, coliforms, and coagulase-negative staphylococci. Administered in a series of injections during pregnancy.
