Virbac Mamiprotec (cefoperazone) is an intramammary antibiotic suspension used to treat clinical mastitis in lactating cattle and buffalo.
INDICATIONS
- Target Species: Lactating cattle and buffalo.

ADMINISTRATION
Virbac Mamiprotec is administered via intramammary infusion (directly into the teat canal) to treat mastitis in lactating cattle and buffalo. It comes in a 10 ml pre-filled, single-use syringe, with a dosage of one syringe per affected quarter, administered immediately after milking.
Administration Steps:
- Target: For intramammary use only; do not inject intravenously or intramuscularly.
- Procedure: Thoroughly clean and disinfect the teat end before inserting the syringe tip and dispensing the entire contents.
- Timing: Administer immediately following the completion of milking.
