INDICATIONS

• Respiratory Tract Infections: Pneumonia, broncho-pneumonia, and shipping fever in livestock.
• Urogenital Tract Infections: Metritis, pyometra, and cystitis.
• Gastrointestinal Infections: Bacterial enteritis, scouring, and salmonellosis.
• Other Infections: Septicaemia, polyarthritis, mastitis, and abscesses. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Subcutaneous (SC) Injection:
  • Pick up a loose fold of skin to create a “tent”.
  • Insert the needle at the base of this tent, parallel to the body, to avoid hitting muscle.
  • Common sites include the neck or behind the shoulder.
• Intramuscular (IM) Injection:
  • Insert the needle into a large muscle mass (e.g., the neck muscle or behind the shoulder) with a quick, perpendicular, or downward jab.
  • Aspirate by pulling back on the plunger to check for blood before injecting. If blood is present, withdraw the needle and try a different spot.
