Cevac Transmune IBD vaccine is indicated for the prevention of Gumboro infection in young chickens.

INDICATIONS

• Target Species: Broiler chickens.
• Purpose: To reduce mortality, clinical disease, weight loss, and acute lesions of the bursa of Fabricius caused by IBDV.
• Key Feature: The vaccine release is timed automatically based on individual antibody levels.
• Administration: 18-day-old embryonated eggs (in-ovo) or 1-day-old chicks (subcutaneous injection).
• Onset of Immunity: Typically occurs between 21 and 32 days of age, depending on initial MDA levels.
• Duration of Immunity: Up to 42 days of age.

ADMINISTRATION

• In-Ovo (18-day Embryo): The vaccine is injected into the amniotic sac or embryo body using specialized machinery.
• Subcutaneous (Day-old Chick): Injected under the skin of the neck using an automatic or manual syringe.
• Preparation: Reconstitute using sterile diluent (e.g., Cevac Solvent Poultry, saline, or PBS).
• Compatibility: Can be administered simultaneously with Marek’s disease vaccine.
