Ceva Immucox 5 is a live oral vaccine indicated for the active immunization of breeder and layer chickens to prevent coccidiosis caused by E. brunetti.

INDICATIONS

Target Species: Breeder and layer chickens poultry.ceva-africa.com.
Purpose: Prevention of coccidiosis by inducing immunity against 5 key Eimeria species.
Administration: Typically applied via coarse spray (often with Gel-based solutions for, optimized uptake) in the hatchery.
Mechanism: Contains live, sporulated oocysts to create a controlled infection, providing immunity without causing severe disease.

ADMINISTRATION

Method: Gel spray is considered superior for uptake and distribution, typically applying 25 mL of vaccine per 100 birds.
Timing: Administered at 1 to 5 days of age.
Storage: The vaccine must be stored at 2°C to 8°C.
Preparation: Mix the vaccine with CevaGel solution using a blender before application.
