Zilmax Feed Mix is a non-steroidal growth stimulant indicated for use in cattle during the last 20-40 days of their feeding period.

Increased Carcass Leanness: Promotes muscle deposition and increases the muscle-to-fat ratio by reducing fat deposition.
Improved Feed Efficiency: Enhances feed conversion efficiency, allowing animals to gain more weight per unit of feed consumed.
Improved Rate of Weight Gain: Increases the daily rate of body weight gain in the final stages of the feeding period.

Increases muscle growth and weight: Zilmax helps cattle gain more weight, with an average increase of about 30 lbs.
Improves feed efficiency: Makes the cattle more efficient at converting feed into muscle.
Enhances carcass quality: Can result in a larger ribeye area, and a slight reduction in backfat thickness.
Requires a withdrawal period: Zilmax-fed cattle need a minimum three-day withdrawal period.
Administered in late-stage feeding: It is used for market steers and heifers to maximize muscle deposition and reduce fat.

Complete Feed (Total Mixed Ration): Zilmax premix is mixed into the entire daily ration (complete feed) at a specific concentration. This method requires careful consideration of the cattle’s feed intake to ensure appropriate levels are administered.
Component Feed (Targeted Dosing): Zilmax is incorporated into a smaller, specific portion of the daily feed. This method aims to provide a consistent daily amount, with the remaining daily feedings being unmedicated. The medicated component feed must be mixed thoroughly for proper distribution.
Mixing: Premix should first be diluted in an intermediate blending step before being added to the final bulk of the feed to ensure even distribution. The product should not be fed undiluted or as a top dressing.
