Vetina CEFIXIME VET DT is cephalosporin antibiotic formulated as dispersible tablets for the treatment of bacterial infections in dogs and cats.

INDICATIONS

• Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Treats bacterial infections such as pyoderma, wounds, and abscesses.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Indicated for UTIs (e.g., cystitis) caused by susceptible bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Proteus species.
• Respiratory Tract Infections: Treats infections of the airway, including pneumonia and chronic bronchitis.
• Ear Infections (Otitis): Used for otitis media and externa.
• Other Potential Applications: Used for infections involving susceptible Enterobacteriaceae and Streptococci strains.

ADMINISTRATION

• Dosage: Generally administered once daily, or as directed by a veterinarian.
• Method: Tablets can be given directly, disguised in food/treats, or dissolved in a small amount of water to aid administration.
• With/Without Food: Can be given on an empty stomach, but giving with food may reduce potential gastrointestinal upset.
