• Bacterial Conjunctivitis: It effectively treats infections of the mucous membrane covering the surface of the eye, which can cause redness, irritation, and a sticky yellow-white discharge.
• Keratitis: It is also indicated for the treatment of inflammation of the cornea caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Post-Surgical Prophylaxis: It may be used to protect the eye against infection following ocular surgeries.

ADMINISTRATION

• Gently clean the eye to remove any discharge or crusts.
• Position animal calmly and comfortably.
• Expose the lower eyelid to create a small pocket for the ointment.
• Apply a thin strip of ointment into the pocket without letting the tube tip touch the eye’s surface, eyelid, or any other surface to prevent contamination and injury. 
• Allow medication to disperse by letting animal blink, or gently massaging the closed eyelid.
