CCPP (Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia) vaccine is indicated for the prevention of severe respiratory disease and death in healthy goats, especially in endemic areas.
INDICATION & ADMINISTRATION
For the active immunization of healthy goats and sheep against Contagious Caprine Pleuropneumonia.
Prevention: To build immunity against CCPP in goats that are not currently sick.
Age: Typically from 3 months old, but can be from 2 months during outbreaks.
Route: Subcutaneous injection (under the skin).
Dose:Commonly 1 mL per animal, though this can vary; always check the product label.
Site:In the neck (prescapular region) or under the shoulder.
Frequency: Often requires revaccination every 6 months.
