INDICATIONS

Coumaphos works as an organophosphate insecticide and acaricide that kills insects and mites by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme essential for normal nerve function. Used against :

• Cattle grubs (warbles)
• Lice (sucking and biting)
• Scabies
• Flies (including horn flies, face flies, biting, and sucking flies)
• Ticks
• Screwworms in wounds
• Mites (including depluming mites and mange mites)
• Sheep keds 

ADMINISTRATION

• Shaker Cans/Squeeze Applicators: Manually applying powder directly onto the animal’s back or areas with parasites (lice, mites).
• Dust Bags: Placing the powder in bags that animals rub against as they pass through gateways or feeders.
• Mechanical Dusters: Using specialized equipment, though this might be restricted due to higher exposure risk.
