Hygieia Biological Haemorrhagic Enteritis vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of healthy turkeys against Haemorrhagic Enteritis (HE).

INDICATIONS

• Target Species: Exclusively for use in healthy turkeys.
• Age Requirement: Recommended for turkeys 5 weeks of age or older.
• Purpose: To prevent clinical symptoms of HE, such as depression, bloody droppings (diarrhea), enlarged/mottled spleens, and sudden death.
• Administration: Specifically developed for oral administration through drinking water. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Target Group: Healthy turkeys 5 weeks of age or older.
• Method: Drinking water administration.
• Preparation: Remove water medication 48 hours before vaccination. Water starve birds for ~2 hours prior to increase thirst.
• Water Quality: Use non-chlorinated water. Add sanitizer-free powdered milk (1 cup per 50 gallons) to neutralize chlorine.
• Application: Rehydrate the freeze-dried virus with 10 mL of cold, clean water, then mix into the waterer system.
• Dosage: Administer immediately after mixing, ensuring all birds have access.
• Post-Vaccination: Resume medicated water only after 24 hours.
• Ensure all waterers are cleaned without disinfectants before use.
