CEVAC ND IB EDS K Vaccine

CEVAC ND IB EDS K vaccine is an inactivated oil emulsion vaccine for chickens that protects against Newcastle Disease (ND), Infectious Bronchitis (IB), and Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS). It is recommended for breeder and laying-type flocks that have already received live virus vaccines against ND and IB.

Infectious Bronchitis Virus (IBV) vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of healthy chickens against avian infectious bronchitis.

INDICATIONS

  • Broilers: Used to prevent respiratory distress (coughing, sneezing, rales) and reduce economic losses associated with poor weight gain, increased mortality, and carcass condemnation.
  • Layers and Breeders: Indications include protecting the oviduct to prevent drops in egg production and maintaining internal and external egg quality (e.g., preventing wrinkled shells or watery albumen). It is also used to provide maternal antibodies to progeny.
  • Renal Health: In areas with nephropathogenic strains, the vaccine is indicated to prevent severe kidney damage and nephritis.
  • Newcastle Disease (ND): Reduces mortality, clinical signs, and viral shedding.
  • Infectious Bronchitis (IB): Protects against Massachusetts and QX-like strains, lowering egg drops and respiratory issues.
  • Egg Drop Syndrome (EDS): Prevents egg loss and quality decline.
