ADMINISTRATION

  1. Preparation: The cow should be completely milked out at the last milking. The udder and teats must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, then dried. Each teat end needs to be scrubbed with a new 70% alcohol swab and allowed to dry.
  2. Infusion: Warm the product to room temperature. Insert the syringe tip into the teat canal (some syringes offer a choice between partial or full insertion) and expel the entire contents into the quarter.
  3. Post-Infusion: Gently massage the base of the quarter to help distribute the medication. The contents should not be milked out.
