Letifend (recombinant protein Q from L. infantum MON-1) is a veterinary vaccine used in dogs to protect against leishmaniasis, the disease caused by the parasite Leishmania infantum. Designed to reduce the risk of infection & clinical disease, particularly in areas where the parasite is prevalent. Administered to dogs from six months of age as a single injection.
