Newcastle Disease Virus Vaccine (Copy)

Ceva’s Vectormune ND vaccine is used for the active immunisation of chickens for protection against Newcastle Disease (ND).

Target Pathogens: Newcastle Disease Virus (Genotypes II, IV, V, VII) and Marek’s Disease Virus.
Target Animals: Chickens (broilers, breeders, and layers).
Administration: Subcutaneous injection for 1-day-old chicks or in ovo injection for 18-19 day-old embryos.
Onset of Immunity: 3 weeks for Newcastle disease; 1 week for Marek’s disease.
Duration of Immunity: Provides long-term protection, with studies showing efficacy in layers up to 72 weeks of age.

In-Ovo Administration:
- Timing: Administered to 18-day-old embryonated broiler chicken eggs.
- Dosage: A single injection of 0.05 ml to 0.1 ml per egg, depending on the specific product protocol.
- Method: An automatic, calibrated in-ovo egg injection machine is used.
Subcutaneous Administration (Day-Old):
- Timing: Administered to one-day-old chicks.
- Dosage: A single injection of 0.2 ml per chick.
- Site: Injected subcutaneously in the back of the neck.
