Oxytocin Bengen, a synthetic form of the hormone oxytocin, is used to stimulate uterine contractions. This is particularly helpful in cases of retained placenta after giving birth, to help expel it and reduce the risk of infection. It can also be used to help initiate or strengthen labor in cases of difficult birth, and to help reduce uterine bleeding after birth.
