Piperazine Citrate

Piperazine citrate powder is indicated for the control of gastrointestinal nematode (roundworm) infestations in domestic animals.

Roundworms (Ascarids): Ascaris spp., Ascaridia galli, Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, and Toxascaris leonina. These is the primary indication across almost all species.
Pinworms (Oxyurids): Oxyuris equi in horses.
Nodular worms: Oesophagostomum spp. in swine, cattle, calves, and sheep.
Strongyles and related worms in horses: Strongylus spp., Trichonema spp., and Triodontophorus tenuicollis.
Other nematodes in ruminants: Nematodirus spp., Ostertagia spp., and Cooperia spp. in cattle, sheep, and goats.
Capillaria: Capillaria spp. in poultry.

In Drinking Water: This is a common and easy method, especially for flock or herd treatments (e.g., poultry, swine). The powder is highly water-soluble.
Mixed with Feed (Mash or Dry Food): The powder can also be thoroughly incorporated into the animal’s feed ration.
Individual Drenching: For individual animals, the mixture may be administered directly into the mouth using a drench.
Mass administration: Particularly useful for treating flocks of poultry or herds of livestock.
