AUPHYL PLUS by Ceva Santé Animale is a live attenuated marker vaccine indicated for the prevention and control of Aujeszky’s disease in swine. A WVA Veterinary Medicine.

AUPHYL PLUS is a live attenuated marker vaccine indicated for the prevention and control of Aujeszky’s disease in swine.

INDICATIONS

  • Target Population: Pigs (growing pigs and breeding stock).
  • Disease Control: Prevention of Aujeszky’s disease (AD) clinical manifestations.
  • Eradication: Recommended for use in, and to facilitate, eradication programs.
  • Vaccination Schedule:
    • Moderately infected areas: Single injection at 8–10 weeks of age.
    • Severe infection: Vaccination at 8 weeks, followed by a second dose at 11–12 weeks.
    • Breeders: Initial vaccination requires two injections at a 1-month interval, with a booster 3 weeks before farrowing.
  • DIVA Capability: The “deleted” strain allows for the differentiation of vaccinated animals from infected animals.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Route: Intramuscular (IM) injection.
  • Location: Neck, behind the ear.
  • Dosage: 2 ml per animal.
  • Preparation: Reconstitute the freeze-dried vaccine with the accompanying oily emulsion diluent.
  • Usage: Shake the mixture well before use.
