Suprelorin (deslorelin acetate), is a veterinary implant used to temporarily suppress fertility in male animals. It is also used to manage adrenal disease in ferrets and may be used to treat chronic egg-laying in pet parrots. Suprelorin is administered via a subcutaneous implant which releases deslorelin, a GnRH agonist, over a period of time. An alternative to surgical castration.
