BIOVETA BioBos Mastiguard vaccine is an inactivated vaccine used for the active immunisation of healthy cows and heifers in dairy herds experiencing mastitis caused by E. Coli and Staph. aureus.

INDICATIONS

• Target Species: Cattle (cows and heifers).
• Indications: Reduction of mastitis occurrence and clinical severity caused by S. aureus and E. coli.
• Immunity Onset/Duration: Protection begins 6 days after calving and lasts for 150 days.
• Application: Administered as part of a broader herd health program.

ADMINISTRATION

• Dosage & Method: Administer a 2 ml dose via intramuscular injection, preferably into the gluteal region.
• Preparation: Shake well and ensure the vaccine is heated to 15-25 °C before use.
• Schedule: Give the first injection 45 days pre-calving, followed by a second dose 3 weeks later.
• Protocol: Alternate injection sides for each dose and repeat the full series for every pregnancy.
• Safety: Safe for use during pregnancy and lactation, with a zero-day withdrawal period.
