BIOPROPERTIES’ Vaxsafe MS is indicated for poultry (layers, breeders, broilers) to prevent respiratory signs (airsacculitis, tracheitis), and production losses (egg drop, poor shell quality, synovitis) caused by the MS infection.
INDICATIONS
- Reduce Respiratory Disease: Decrease air sac lesions, sinusitis, and tracheitis in chickens.
- Improve Egg Production: Prevent drops in laying performance.
- Enhance Egg Quality: Reduce abnormal eggshell formation in breeder flocks.
- Control Synovitis: Protect against infectious synovitis (joint/tendon inflammation).
- Prevent Egg Transmission: Aid in reducing MS transmission through eggs.
- Prophylactic Use: Vaccinate healthy birds before exposure to field strains for best results.
ADMINISTRATION
- Eyedrop/Intranasal (IN): A single drop of reconstituted live vaccine (e.g., MS-H strain) is placed in the bird’s eye, allowing it to blink it in, or administered as a fine spray.
- Subcutaneous (SC) Injection: A common method for killed vaccines or some live ones, injected into the loose skin of the lower neck, often in two doses for layers/breeders.
- Aerosol/Fine Spray: Used for live vaccines like the F-strain or MS1, requiring clean, cool, non-chlorinated water for dilution and a specialized sprayer.
- Drinking Water: Also an option for certain live F-strain vaccines, requiring careful water management to ensure full intake.
