HIPRA Rhiniseng is an inactivated vaccine designed to protect against Pasteurella multocida. Indicated for the passive protection of suckling piglets. Administered to sows and gilts to provide immunity to their offspring through colostrum.

HIPRA Rhiniseng vaccine is specifically designed to protect against Pasteurella multocida (PMT) by providing passive immunity to piglets from vaccinated sows.

INDICATIONS

Atrophic Rhinitis Prevention: It is used to reduce clinical signs and lesions of both progressive (caused by toxigenic Pasteurella multocida) and non-progressive (caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica) atrophic rhinitis.
Productivity Improvement: It helps reduce weight loss in piglets during the fattening period that is associated with these infections.
Passive Immunity Duration: Protection in piglets has been shown to last until at least 6 weeks of age.

ADMINISTRATION

Warm the Vaccine: Bring the vaccine to room temperature (15-25°C).
Shake Well: Shake the vial thoroughly before drawing.
Dose: Administer one 2 ml dose per animal.
Route: Intramuscular (IM) injection.
Site: Neck muscles are recommended.
Needle: Use a sharp needle of appropriate size for the animal’s weight, ensuring full penetration into the muscle tissue.
