Hygieia Biological Laboratories’ Pigeon Pox (PPV) Vaccine is a live virus vaccine used to immunize pigeons against Pigeon Pox.
INDICATIONS
- Target Species: Healthy chickens.
- Age Requirement: Recommended for birds 8 weeks of age or older.
- Timing: Must be administered at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the laying period.
- Disease Prevention: Specifically aids in preventing clinical signs caused by virulent field strains of fowl pox virus.
ADMINISTRATION
- Method: Wing web stab (using a double-needle applicator).
- Target Species: Chickens.
- Timing: Administer to healthy chickens at least 4 weeks prior to the start of lay.
- Preparation: Reconstitute the freeze-dried vaccine with the supplied sterile diluent.
- Application: Dip the applicator into the vaccine and stab through the skin of the web of the wing.
