NeoVac DA2 Vaccine

NeoVac DA2 is a modified live virus vaccine manufactured by NeoTech, LLC, designed to protect dogs against Canine Distemper and Canine Adenovirus Type 2, the most lethal and prevalent respiratory viral diseases in dogs. A WVA Veterinary Medicine.

NeoVac DA2 vaccine is indicated for active immunization against Infectious Canine Hepatitis (ICH), and Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease.

INDICATIONS

  • Target Diseases: Protects against Canine Distemper and Adenovirus Type 2.
  • Target Animals: Healthy dogs 6 weeks (42 days) of age or older.
  • Administration: 1 mL dose administered subcutaneously.
  • Dosage Protocol: For puppies, initial vaccination at 6 weeks, then every 14 to 28 days until 16 weeks of age to overcome maternal antibody interference. Dogs over 16 weeks should receive a single dose, followed by a second dose 2-4 weeks later.
  • Revaccination: Annual vaccination is recommended.

ADMINISTRATION

  1. Route: Subcutaneous (SC) injection, typically under the loose skin over the shoulder.
  2. Preparation: Shake well and aseptically rehydrate the vaccine with the supplied diluent immediately before use.
  3. Dosage: 1 mL per dose.
  4. Vaccination Schedule:
    • Puppies: For puppies, vaccinate every 14 to 28 days until at least 16 weeks of age due to potential maternal antibody interference.
    • Adults: Dogs over 16 weeks should receive a single 1 mL dose.
    • Revaccination: Annual revaccination is recommended.
