Cefacetrile

Cefacetrile oral suspension is used for the intramammary treatment of mastitis in lactating cows.

Skin and soft tissue infections such as dermatitis, pyoderma, cellulitis, wound infections, and abscesses.
Urinary tract infections (UTIs), including bladder infections (cystitis).
Respiratory tract infections, such as pneumonia.
Bone infections.

Shake the bottle well before each dose to mix the medication evenly.
Measure the dose carefully using the provided oral syringe or a special measuring device, not a household spoon.
Position your pet in a comfortable manner. For dogs, gently place a hand over their muzzle; for cats, a towel wrap might be helpful.
Insert the syringe into the side of the mouth, just past the lower teeth into the cheek pocket.
Squirt small amounts of the liquid slowly into the mouth, pausing between squirts to allow your pet to swallow without gagging or choking. Do not tilt their chin upward.
Ensure swallowing by gently rubbing their nose or throat, or blowing lightly on their nose.
