Diaveridine & Sulfaquinoxaline is indicated for the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis and bacterial infections in calves, lambs, poultry, dogs and cats.
INDICATIONS
- Coccidiosis: Treatment and prevention of caecal and intestinal coccidiosis caused by various Eimeria species. This applies to:
- Poultry and turkeys
- Calves, lambs, dogs, and cats
- Rabbits (intestinal and hepatic coccidiosis)
- Bacterial Infections: Control and treatment of specific bacterial diseases susceptible to sulfaquinoxaline, such as:
- Fowl cholera (caused by Pasteurella multocida) in chickens and turkeys
- Fowl typhoid (caused by Salmonella gallinarum) in chickens and turkeys
- Other intestinal or systemic bacterial infections in livestock and poultry, which may include pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and soft tissue infections, though resistance is common.
ADMINISTRATION
- Dissolve 10 g of powder in 10 litre of drinking water, or mix 100 g powder in 50 kg of final feed. Give this medicated water or teed for 2-3 days.
- Afterwards, give plain drinking water or unmedicated feed for the next 2 days.
- Dissolve 10 g in 20 litres of drinking water, or mix 100 g powder in 100 kg of final feed. Give this medicated water or feed for the next 2-3 days.
