INDICATIONS (For Cattle)

• Estrus Synchronization: Used to synchronize estrus in cycling beef and dairy cows and heifers.
• Unobserved/Non-detected Estrus: Used to induce estrus in cows that are cycling but not observed in heat (when a mature corpus luteum is present).
• Reproductive Conditions: Treatment of luteal cysts, pyometra, or chronic endometritis.
• Mummified Fetus: Expulsion of a mummified fetus.
• Termination of Pregnancy: Safely terminates unwanted pregnancies (mismating) from 1 week after mating up to 5 months of gestation.

• Induction of Parturition (Farrowing): Used to induce farrowing in sows and gilts to manage and synchronize farrowing schedules. 

• Induction of Luteolysis: Used in mares with a functional or persistent corpus luteum to induce a return to estrus and normal ovulation, which aids in stud management.
• Termination of Pregnancy: Can be used to terminate pregnancy in the early stages, though this application requires careful veterinary supervision. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Cattle (Beef and Dairy): Administered via intramuscular injection.
• Horses (Ponies and Donkeys): Administered by intramuscular injection.
• Horses (Thoroughbreds/Heavy Horses): Administered by intramuscular injection. 
• Estrus Synchronization: Often used in a “double injection” regimen, where a second dose is given after the first.
• Fixed Time AI (FTAI): Can be used in combination with gonadorelin (e.g., GONAbreed).
• Pregnancy Termination: For abortion in cattle, administered via IM injection between 1 week after mating and 5 months of gestation.
