Ecoporc SHIGA (escherichia coli, recombinant Shiga toxin 2e) is a veterinary vaccine used in pigs for the active immunisation against oedema, an often fatal condition caused by certain strains of Escherichia coli bacteria. Oedema can lead to fluid buildup in the stomach and gut, as well as damage to blood vessels in the brain.
