Flubendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic drug used to treat a variety of parasitic worm infections in animals including roundworm, hookworm, lungworm, whipworm, and certain types of tapeworm.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION :
FUBACIN 5% powders should be well mixed in the feed, and the medicated feed administered.
Pigs : Group treatment Piglets and fattening pigs : 30 ppm Flubendazole (600 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) in feed for 5 days. In case of severe infections with Trichuris suis, the animals should be treated for 10 days.
Breeding pigs : 30 ppm Flubendazole (600 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) in feed for 10 consecutive days. Individual and single administration : 5 mg/kg b.w. Flubendazole (10 g FUBACIN 5% / 100 kg body weight) strewn over or mixed in the feed 5 days. In case of severe infections with Trichuris suis, the animals should be treated for 10 days.
Poultry : Chicken – 30 ppm Flubendazole (600 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) for 7 consecutive days. In case of infection with tapeworms (Railletina spp.) : 60 ppm Flubendazole (1200 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) for 7 consecutive days. Turkey – 20 ppm Flubendazole (400 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) for 7 consecutive days.
Pheasants : 60 ppm Flubendazole (1200 g FUBACIN 5% /ton of feed) for 7 consecutive days.
