HULX VIOTION Solution (gentian violet) is a topical veterinary antiseptic used for pets to treat surface wounds, bacterial and fungal skin infections, scrapes, burns, rashes, and cracked paws.
INDICATIONS
- Wound Care: Treatment of minor cuts, abrasions, lacerations, and surgical wounds.
- Skin Infections: Effective against fungal infections (such as ringworm), eczema, moist lesions, and bacterial skin infections.
- Foot/Hoof Care: Treatment of hoof rot, foot sores, and interdigital infections in livestock.
- Irritation Relief: Relieves dry, itchy skin, rashes, and insect bites.
- Antibacterial/Antifungal: Topical treatment for navels of newborn animals and infections around the ears or skin.

- Application Method: Apply the solution topically to the affected areas as directed.
- Preparation: Clean and dry the affected area before application to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Coverage: Use a cotton swab or the provided applicator to apply a thin layer only to the affected area, avoiding surrounding healthy skin.
- Safety Precautions:
- Do not use on cats if the product contains added ingredients like those in some, but not all, veterinary formulations.
- Prevent ingestion: Ensure the animal does not lick the treated area.
- Avoid eyes: Do not apply directly into the eyes or on deep, puncture wounds.
- Staining: Be aware that gentian violet will permanently stain fur, skin, and clothing.
- Duration: Continue treatment until the skin has fully recovered.
