Boehringer Ingelheim TUR-3 Vaccine

Boehringer’s TUR-3 is an inactivated (killed) vaccine emulsion designed for the active immunization of future breeder turkeys. It is used as a booster vaccine to protect against Avian Paramyxovirus Type 3 (PMV3). A WVA Veterinary Medicine.

Boehringer’s TUR-3 vaccine is designed for the active immunization of breeder turkeys against Avian Paramyxovirus Type 3 (PMV3).

INDICATIONS

Newcastle Disease (ND): Used as a booster after primary vaccination to reduce mortality and clinical signs of the disease.
Turkey Rhinotracheitis (TRT): Used as a booster to induce specific seroconversion (antibody production) throughout the laying period.
Avian Paramyxovirus Type 3 (PMV3): Indicated to reduce the decrease in egg production at peak lay and maintain specific immunity throughout the laying cycle.

ADMINISTRATION

Dosage: A single 0.3-ml dose.
Method: Intramuscular route (usually in the leg or breast muscle).
Timing:
- Primary Vaccination: One injection 8 to 10 weeks before the beginning of lay.
- Booster Vaccination: One injection 2 to 4 weeks before the beginning of lay.
Preparation: Shake well before use and allow the vaccine to reach room temperature before administering.
Application: The vaccine can be used with automatic vaccinating equipment. Aseptic procedures must be followed.
