KEVEVAPI Pastrevax is an inactivated (killed) vaccine used to protect cattle and sheep against infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.

INDICATIONS

  • Target Species: Sheep and cattle.
  • Disease Prevention: Prevention of diseases caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica.
  • Clinical Conditions: It is used to prevent respiratory infections (pneumonia) and septicemic conditions often associated with shipping fever or stress-induced pasteurellosis.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Method: Subcutaneous injection.
  • Target Species: Cattle and sheep.
  • Dosage (Cattle): 2ml for cattle below 100kg, 5ml for those above 100kg.
  • Dosage (Sheep): 1ml for sheep below 30kg, 2ml for those above 30kg.
  • Vaccination Schedule: Two initial injections, typically 4 weeks apart, followed by an annual booster.
  • Storage: Keep refrigerated at +4°C, do not freeze.
  • Precautions: Vaccinate only healthy, non-stressed animals. A small transient nodule may appear at the site, regressing in 1–2 weeks.
