INVESA TROMEXIN powder (sulfamethoxypyridazine & trimethoprim) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial and protozoal infections in livestock and poultry.

INDICATIONS

• Poultry: Effectively treats bacterial enteritis, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), and air sacculitis.
• Cattle & Calves: Indicated for bacterial pneumonia, pasteurellosis, bronchitis, and gastrointestinal infections (scours).
• Pigs: Used for pneumonia, gastroenteritis, and septicemia.
• Sheep & Goats: Prescribed for pneumonia, dysentery, and infectious hoof rot.
• Rabbits: Treats acute rhinitis, pasteurellosis, and enteritis. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Mixed with Drinking Water: This is a common method, especially for poultry, rabbits, calves, pigs, and sheep, as it allows for group treatment. The powder is dissolved in the water, and the solution must be refreshed daily.
• Mixed with Feed: The powder can also be mixed into the animal’s concentrate or feed. This method is used for livestock such as cattle, pigs, and sheep. For horses, it might be administered once daily in a small amount of palatable feed.
• Individual Dosing: For small animals like dogs and cats, while the powder form of this specific combination is less common than tablets or liquid suspensions, other potentiated sulfonamide powders (like sulfadiazine).
