MSD's Toxovax is a live, single-dose vaccine for sheep that provides lifetime immunity against toxoplasmosis, a disease that can cause abortion, infertility, and other reproductive issues in ewes. It is administered to breeding female sheep (ewes) via intramuscular injection at least three weeks before mating to prevent the effects of Toxoplasma gondii infection.
