Niclosamide tablets are indicated for the treatment and control of intestinal tapeworm infections in livestock and companion animals.

  • As a Bolus: In large animals like cattle, sheep, and goats, niclosamide is often formulated as a large tablet called a bolus, which is administered orally using a bolus ejector or directly by hand.
  • In Water (Crushed): For younger animals or those unable to swallow a tablet, the tablets can be crushed into a fine powder and mixed with a small amount of water to form a paste, then administered orally.
  • Dosage: Dosage is based on the animal’s body weight and the specific type of parasite being treated.
