Sinder ND + H9 ND vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of chickens against Newcastle Disease (ND). Reduces clinical signs, lesions, and virus shedding for approximately 6 months.  A WVA Veterinary Medicine.

Sinder ND + H9 ND vaccine is indicated for the active immunization of chickens against Newcastle Disease (ND).

INDICATIONS

  • Target Diseases: Provides combined protection against Newcastle Disease virus (La Sota strain).
  • Target Population: Recommended for healthy chicken flocks.
  • Administration: Administered via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection into the neck.
  • Dosage: 0.25 ml per bird for chickens up to 4 weeks old; 0.5 ml for chickens older than 4 weeks.
  • Immunity Duration: Effective immunity lasts for approximately 6 months, with strong antibody titers observed.
  • Benefit: Induces a fast and high antibody response, significantly reducing mortality and shedding of both pathogens.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Method: Subcutaneous injection in the neck is commonly recommended, though intramuscular is also used.
  • Dosage:
    • Under 4 weeks: 0.25 mL per bird.
    • Over 4 weeks/Laying hens: 0.5 mL per bird
  • Preparation: The emulsion must be thoroughly shaken and allowed to reach room temperature before injection.
  • Timing: Used for immunizing healthy chickens, often 16-20 weeks old for laying hens, or as a booster following live vaccines.
