Neomycin Eye Drops

Rephco Pharma Nicidex eye drops (neomycin) are indicated for treating superficial bacterial eye infections in dogs, cats and horses.

Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Inflammation of the conjunctiva (pink eye).
Bacterial Keratitis: Infection and inflammation of the cornea.
Bacterial Blepharitis: Infection of the eyelids.
Blepharoconjunctivitis: Inflammation of both the eyelids and conjunctiva.
Keratoconjunctivitis: Inflammation affecting both the cornea and conjunctiva.
Inflammatory Corneal Conditions: Such as nonulcerative keratitis and anterior uveitis (inflammation inside the eye).
Corneal Injuries: To prevent infection and inflammation from scratches, ulcers, or chemical/radiation damage.

Wash hands thoroughly before and after handling the medication.
Do not contaminate the dropper tip. Do not allow it to touch your pet’s eye, eyelids, or any other surface.
Gently pull down animal’s lower eyelid to create a small pocket or pouch.
Instill the prescribed number of drops into the eye as directed.
Release animal’s head and allow them to blink, which helps spread the solution evenly over the eye surface.
Complete the full course of treatment, even if the symptoms improve sooner, to ensure the infection is fully resolved.
