HIPRA Divence Penta is a multivalent marker vaccine for the active immunisation of cattle against Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), to reduce virus shedding, hyperthermia, clinical signs and lung lesions caused by BRD. A WVA Veterinary Medicine. 

Divence Penta is a multivalent marker vaccine for the active immunisation of cattle against Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD).

INDICATIONS

  • Respiratory Protection: To reduce virus shedding, hyperthermia (fever), clinical signs, and lung lesions caused by:
    • Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV).
    • Parainfluenza 3 Virus (PI-3).
  • Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR): To reduce virus shedding, hyperthermia, and clinical signs of IBR
  • Bovine Viral Diarrhoea (BVD):
    • To reduce viremia, hyperthermia, leukopenia, and virus shedding caused by BVDV-1 and BVDV-2.
    • Indicated to reduce the birth of persistently infected (PI) calves and transplacental infection of BVDV types 1 and 2.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Target Species: Cattle from 10 weeks of age onwards.
  • Dosage: A single dose consists of 2 ml of the reconstituted vaccine.
  • Primary Vaccination Scheme: Two doses (2 ml each) must be administered with an interval of 3 weeks between them.
    • Re-vaccination (Boosters):
      • First Booster: One dose (2 ml) should be given no later than 6 months after the primary scheme is completed.
      • Subsequent Boosters: One dose (2 ml) every 12 months thereafter.
