Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus Vaccine

Virbac’s BOVIGEN Platinum 5 is a modified live vaccine designed to protect cattle against Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV).

INDICATIONS

Target Pathogens: Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis (IBR), Bovine Virus Diarrhea (BVD) Types 1 and 2, Parainfluenza 3 (PI3), and Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV).
Reproductive Protection: Safe for use in pregnant cows and calves nursing pregnant cows, provided they were vaccinated with a BOVIGEN Platinum 5-way vaccine 30-60 days pre-breeding.
Usage: Labeled for use in weaned calves, replacement heifers, and breeding cows.
Administration: 2 mL dose, administered subcutaneously.
Compatibility: Meets Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) standards.

ADMINISTRATION

Virbac BOVIGEN Platinum 5 is administered as a subcutaneous to cattle. It requires a two-dose primary series, with the second dose given 14 to 28 days after the first. It must be administered using aseptic techniques.
