Abbey Di-FLY spray-on treatment (dicyclanil) is designed to protect sheep against flystrike caused by blowflies. For the protection of mulesing and marking wounds on sheep against fly strike during the wound healing process. A CODEX and WVA Veterinary Medicine.

Abbey Di-FLY spray-on treatment used to protect animals against fly strike caused by blowflies.

INDICATIONS

  • Protection Duration: Provides 18–24 weeks of protection (Di-FLY) or up to 29 weeks (Di-FLY Extra) against blowfly strike.
  • Wound Management: Protects mulesing and marking wounds on lambs during the healing process.
  • Application: Suitable for all breeds, including off-shears (within 24 hours) and long-wool sheep.
  • Target Areas: Protects against breech, body, and poll strike.
  • Restrictions: Not for use on sheep producing milk for human consumption.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Method: Use a spray-on applicator gun, holding the nozzle 15–25 cm above the fleece to achieve a 15 cm wide band of coverage.
  • Dosage: The dose volume depends on the weight of the sheep.
  • Conditions: Do not apply during windy or gusty weather to avoid drift.
  • Precautions: Avoid application on heavily soiled, muddy, or daggy wool.
  • Protection Duration: Up to 29 weeks.
