INDICATIONS

  • White Scours: A form of diarrhea in calves.
  • Pneumonia: Bacterial lung infections.
  • Footrot: An infectious disease of the hooves.
  • Joint-ill and Navel-ill: Bacterial infections affecting the joints or umbilical stump of newborns.
  • Target Population: Exclusively for young animals; they must not be used in ruminants older than 3 months.

  • Hydration: Treated animals must have constant access to fresh drinking water during and for at least two days after the treatment.

ADMINISTRATION

  • Oral Delivery: Tablets are commonly placed at the back of the animal’s tongue. Slightly tilting the animal’s head back can sometimes assist in swallowing.

  • Topical Application (Historical Use): In the past, crushed M&B 693 tablets were sometimes applied as a powder directly to wounds.
  • Animals should have unrestricted access to drinking water during treatment and for at least two days after the final dose to help prevent potential kidney problems.
  • Not for use in ruminants older than 3 months.
