ADMINISTRATION
- Drinking Water: The powder is dissolved in fresh tap water. It is recommended to withhold plain drinking water for approximately 2 hours before treatment to ensure animals consume the medicated water immediately.
- Milk or Milk Replacer: For pre-ruminant calves, the powder can be mixed into milk. The milk replacer should be prepared first, then the powder should be added and stirred vigorously for about 5 minutes.
- Animal Feed: When used as a feed additive, it is often mixed as a premix. It is recommended to first mix the required quantity with a small amount of feed (20–50 kg) before incorporating it into the total volume to ensure even distribution.
- Freshness: Medicated water must be replaced every 24 hours; medicated milk or milk replacers should be consumed immediately after preparation.
- Sole Source: While being treated, the medicated water or feed should be the only source available to the animals to ensure they receive the full dose.
