INDICATIONS

• Pigs:
  • Treatment and prevention of swine dysentery (also known as trichomonas dysentery or treponemal dysentery).
  • Treatment of hemorrhagic enteritis.
  • As an antimicrobial agent against Campylobacter spp. and Vibrio coli infections.
• Poultry (Turkeys, Chickens, Pigeons, and Game Birds):
  • Treatment and prevention of histomoniasis (commonly known as blackhead or infectious enterohepatitis) in turkeys and chickens.
  • Treatment of trichomoniasis in pigeons and other caged birds.
• Cattle:
  • Treatment of genital trichomoniasis, a venereal disease that causes infertility and early fetal death. . 

ADMINISTRATION

• Dimetridazole Premix is administered by being thoroughly mixed into the animal’s feed or, in some specific cases, dissolved in drinking water. It is an oral administration method. 
  • Mixed Feeding: Dimetridazole Premix is commonly incorporated into animal feed at specific inclusion rates.
  • Drinking Water: Some forms of dimetridazole powder are designed to be dissolved in drinking water, serving as the sole water source during treatment.
