Equine Influenza vaccine is indicated for healthy horses of all ages, especially those at high risk of exposure to Equine Influenza.
INDICATIONS
For the active immunization of healthy horses and ponies from six months of age against equine influenza. The primary goals of vaccination are to:
- Reduce the severity and duration of clinical signs (such as coughing and nasal discharge) after infection.

- First injection: 1 ml dose, administered from 6 months of age.
- Second injection: 1 ml dose, given 4 weeks after the first injection.
- Purpose: This two-dose course provides immunity for at least 5 months.
Revaccination and boosters
- First revaccination (third dose): 1 ml dose, given 5 months after the second injection.
- Subsequent boosters: Annual booster vaccinations (or other intervals recommended by a veterinarian) are needed to maintain immunity.
- For the TE version: The first revaccination is a third dose that is administered at least 4 weeks after the second dose.
- For the TE version: Following the third dose, the next revaccination with Equilis Prequenza Te is recommended 12 months later, and subsequent boosters are given every 12 months.
