INDICATIONS

• Ringworm (dermatophytosis): The most common indication in cats, dogs, and small mammals.
• Rain rot: A specific condition in horses (also known as dermatophilosis, although it can have bacterial components).
• Fungal infections of the claws and nails: Used in cases where the infection is not localized and requires systemic treatment. 

ADMINISTRATION

• Dosage: Dosage and duration of treatment are based on animal species, weight, and the severity of the infection.
• Give with Food: Griseofulvin is best absorbed into the body when given with a fatty meal. Can be mixed with a small amount of high-fat canned food, a little butter or corn oil, or a small piece of cheese.
• Do Not Stop Early: Continue the full course of medication, even if the symptoms disappear, to prevent the infection from recurring.
• Measure Accurately: Use a specially marked measuring device, not a household spoon, to ensure accurate dosing of the liquid suspension.
• Proper Hygiene: Fungal infections like ringworm are highly contagious to other animals and humans. Wash hands thoroughly after handling the medication or infected animal.
• Storage: Store the medication at room temperature in a tight, light-resistant container, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
