Intas Coriosurge XP (hCG) is used to treat reproductive disorders, and enhance fertility in cattle, horses, goats, and pigs.

INDICATIONS

• Cattle (Cows and Heifers):
  • Cystic Ovaries: Used to treat nymphomania (frequent or constant heat) and anestrus (lack of heat) caused by follicular cysts.
  • Fertility Enhancement: Helps improve conception rates in “repeat breeders” by optimizing the timing of ovulation.
• Horses (Mares):
  • Induction of Ovulation: Stimulates the release of the egg in “in-heat” mares, typically within 48 hours of administration.
• Dogs:
  • Bitches: Used to induce ovulation, treat prolonged pro-oestrus, or address cases of anestrus.
  • Male Dogs: Indicated for cryptorchidism (undescended testicles) and to address a deficiency in libido (sex drive).

• Reconstitution: Add the provided solvent to the vial containing the powder. Gently swirl to mix. The solution should be used immediately, and any unused portion should be discarded.
• Injection Route:
  • Intramuscular (IM): Injected deep into muscle tissue, such as the hind leg or neck area.
  • Subcutaneous (SC): Injected just under the skin, often in an area with loose, tented skin.
• Target Species/Dosage Examples:
  • Big animals: 3,000 to 6,000 I.U.
  • Medium animals: 1,000 to 3,000 I.U.
  • Small animals: 500 to 1,000 I.U.
• Precautions: Clean the injection site, and pull back on the plunger slightly to ensure the needle is not in a blood vessel.
