ADMINISTRATION
- Wash hands thoroughly before and after use to prevent contamination.
- Shake the bottle well before each application, as it is a suspension.
- Tilt the animal’s head back slightly and gently pull the lower eyelid down to form a small pouch or pocket.
- Instill the prescribed number of drops into the eyelid pouch. Be careful not to touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or your fingers, to keep the medication sterile.
- Gently close the eye for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the medicine to come into contact with the infection and get absorbed, rather than draining out.
- Do not blink or rub the eye during this time.
